To become a subscriber, passport-sized photos, local address proof (electricity bill/phone bill), and identification proof are required.
Subscribers can exchange books/magazines every alternate day. Books can be kept for a maximum of 10 days.
After 10 days, a late fee of Rs. 1/- per day will be charged.
A monthly fee of Rs. 1/- must be paid for suspension of a card.
For high-value books, an additional deposit equal to the book’s price must be paid (Rs. 500/-).
Rare books must be read inside the library.
An additional Rs. 20/- must be paid for rare books.
The monthly subscription fee must be paid by the 10th of each month.
To get the deposit refunded, a cancellation form must be filled 8 days in advance. A receipt of the deposit must also be submitted. Otherwise, a fine of Rs. 25/- will be imposed.
Membership, once accepted, cannot be canceled for at least three months.
A maximum of two magazines can be taken at a time:
One from the current month
One from the previous month
A subscriber can keep a magazine for a maximum of 5 days.
